Michael Roger Reese was born in Portland and grew up near Boring, Oregon. Suburbs surrounding Portland have provided the domiciles where he lays down to sleep. The only time he has lived outside of Oregon was two and a half years spent living and training, in California, to work in the food service industry.

Some people might succumb to a narrow, small town prospective, living in one modest city for most of their lives. Michael's career as a long-haul transportation specialist has opened new vistas of this great world that God created for each person to enjoy.

Photographs allow us to see a unique perspective of man, flora and fauna through the lens of the photographer's eye. Mr. Reese has captured some of the intricate beauty that God embodied in each flower, bird and brook. For more than 30 years, Michael and his wife have enjoyed mountain vistas, ocean swells, birds and flowers together.

Music has been an important part of his life, ever since he started to sing praise to God, as a child with his family. Starting in 1993, Michael has been involved with troupes of Christian actors performing in Christmas and Easter plays. October 18, 1998, was the day that he was impressed to start writing poetry that expresses the relationship between God and mankind.
